In my opionin, the best social network!
I am by no means a computer or internet genius, nor do I know every site out there with add ons, or super technical stuff (see I told you I was no genius). However I have joined many social networks. The reason I joined the social networks is because I have been looking for a way to stay a home with my daughter, and I stumbled across links from safelists and traffic exchanges etc; There are the two biggies MySpace and then Facebook. These two are what every other social network has based themselves on. They have comments, mailing, adds, personalised pages, all that kinda thing. I personally found them to be a bit daunting, and there are just so many people there, and lot's of unsavoury people, if you check out their pages, they are somewhat questionable. There is also sites that are more specific, like teenage sites like bebo (which are screened and watched constantly), there are sites that are country orientated like hyves (aimed at the netherlands, although I believe that is starting to get more international). While looking through these safelist ads, I came across my favourite one. Now the reason it caught my attention is that it pays its users. This sounded cool to me, so I joined with the intention of doing just that. But now despite this I am addicted. I joined in Oct 07, and I have not really made much money (around about $3.00 in total), but I also reckon it's got long term potential for everyone involved (think crockpot verses microwave, and that what comes from a crockpot is better than a microwave). I just don't care about the money aspect of it at all anymore. The network I refer to is YUWIE. It has a great family friendly aspect to it that I didn't see on myspace or facebook. The majority of users, and all yuwie addicts, and have gone out of their way to help yuwie grow (there is yuwie radio, forums, friend adders all set up by individual users).
